MADISON ESKRIDGE, Veterinary Assistant

After living in Florida for 22 years & pursuing an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Science, Maddie became licensed and moved to the northeastern part of Kentucky in July of 2025, undertaking her dream as an LVT. Maddie started at Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in July of 2026, and continues to be very passionate about her career in Veterinary Medicine. When she’s not working, she’s at home with her cat, Gwen [or as many affectionately call her “Goo”], spending time with her grandparents, playing video games, drawing… and of course, shopping at Aldi.

Gracie Daniels, Veterinary Assistant

Gracie joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital staff in September of 2026, Gracie has about 2 years of experience in the veterinary field. Gracie has raised cattle and goats her whole life so has a lot of experience in the animal field. Gracie enjoys going to cattle shows, spending time with her son Paxton and boyfriend Noah.

Keyaira Taylor, Veterinary Assistant

Keyaira is a Veterinary Assistant at Wheelersburg Animal Hospital with a strong foundation in pre-veterinary studies from Morehead State University. She is currently advancing her clinical skills through the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster and is deeply committed to animal welfare and continued professional growth.

Her experience includes active volunteer work at local animal shelters, where she focuses on canine enrichment and socialization. As the proud owner of Memphis, a German Shepherd mix, Keyaira’s passion for animals extends both personally and professionally. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and aspires to become a traveling veterinarian, allowing her to serve and support diverse animal communities.

April Pellicore

April was born and raised a Marine Brat, but has finally found a place to put down roots and call home over in South Shore, KY. She lives with her wonderful fiancé Alex, their son Forrest, as well as their two cats Sol and Luna. In her free time she enjoys video games, anime, listening to music, singing, and spending time with her family here.

Brittany Colley

I have always had a strong love for animals. I am married to my best friend, and together we have one teenager and more pets than we can count. In our free time, my family enjoys participating in dog competitions and field trials with our beagles. I am excited to be part of the Wheelersburg Animal Hospital team and look forward to contributing to the care of our patients and their families.

Emily Lewis

Emily is originally from Louisville and recently moved to Garrison. She is a 2024 graduate of Georgetown College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. She has two dogs (Daisy and Calvin), and one cat (Cado). Her favorite color is green, and in her free time, she likes to read, cook, go shopping, decorate and travel.

Sam Fuller

Sam joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in April 2025. She recently moved to Lucasville, OH. She currently has 5 dogs (Leroy, Cash, Precious, Eden & Ruby), a crested gecko (Frederick), snake (Ghost), 4 cats (Delilah, Broccoli, Midnight & Chips), and 2 axolotls. In her free time, she enjoys sitting on the porch and spending time with her dogs & boyfriend.

April Artis

My name is April Dawn Artis, I’m from Grayson, Ky. I have 6 beautiful children, and a wonderful fiance, we are currently planning a beach wedding for May 13th, 2025. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats.

My favorite things are bowling, traveling, music, cooking, fishing, swimming, iced coffee, dr pepper, caramel reese cups, spending time with my family and making all the memories we can.

Life is an adventure, always make the best of it!

PAUL MCGAUGHEY

Paul started with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in July of 2023. He graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science. He hopes to continue his education and pursue a career in the medical field. Paul currently lives in West Portsmouth, OH, with his wife, Hannah, their dog (Shadow), & their pet snake (Percy). In his free time, he loves going to the gym and going on adventures with his wife any chance they get!

Leslee Colby

Leslee is originally from Washington Court House, Ohio, but recently moved back to Blue Creek, Ohio from Michigan. Leslee discovered her passion for Veterinary medicine when she took the position as head receptionist in a veterinarian hospital there.

Leslee is a mother of three adult children and two grandchildren. She and Tom (the love of her life) have three dogs, Hazel, Willie, Annie. Leslee loves spending time with family, walking, painting, decorating and sitting on her front porch enjoying God’s beauty….Shawnee Forest.

Farrah Ashley

Farrah joined Wheelersburg Animal in June of 2026. She currently resides in Wheelersburg, Ohio, has 4 children (Kylah, Mahaylah, Uriah, and Danykah) and 2 grandsons (Waylon and Keziah). In her free time, Farrah enjoys back roading, nature, and sitting around campfires.

Kaylie Lawrence

Kaylie joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in May of 2026. She has almost 2 years experience working in Veterinary Medicine, and currently lives in Greenup, Kentucky with her son, Weston and boyfriend, Cameron. Kaylie played softball for 14 years, even at the collegiate level. In her free time, Kaylie enjoys fishing & being outdoors.

SHELL GIERHART

Shell began working at WAH in July 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, hunting, horseback riding, & spending time with her husband, family & fur babies. Shell & her husband currently reside in Oak Hill, OH with their dogs (Toby, Percy Jay, & Marshall), 2 cats (Snowball & Sharlene), & horses (Hitch, Dixie & Appy). She loves her career here at WAH, & is excited to meet your fur babies!

KELLY GRIZZLE

Kelly started with WAH in July of 2022 and has worked in Veterinary Medicine, her passion, for over 20 years. She has 3 dogs (Lois, Hank & Chip), 4 cats (Violet, D, Alexa & Mr. Moon) & a tortoise named Todd. Kelly also has a teenage son, Gabriel, the proud parent of a hamster named Cotton. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, coffee & KPop.

ANDREW KENNEDY

Andrew joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in May 2022. Originally from St. Albans, WV, he is a 2025 graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and 2 minors in Digital Forensics & Biology. Andrew is currently still enrolled at Marshall, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. A lifetime lover of dogs & animals of all species, he enjoys the opportunity to work with pets every day. He has 2 dogs, a Husky (Nuggie), and German Shepherd (Zuko). In his free time, he enjoys gaming with friends, eating, taking naps & watching anime.

KRISTEN GRAY

Kristen started at Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in February 2022 and has worked in Veterinary Medicine for 3 years. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster, working to obtain her degree as a registered Veterinary Technician. In her free time, Kristen enjoys being outdoors with her family, hiking, horseback riding, camping, reading & the occasional Netflix binge. She is the mother of 3 children, 3 dogs (Goku, Gypsy & Chase) & 2 cats (Giggy & Romey).

Breanna Skaggs,

Breanna began working at WAH in December of 2025. She enjoys all things animals and will love anything that will let her. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crafting, and chilling with her countless cats and 3 dogs, Dobbie ,Marley & Frankie. As someone who has done animal rescue work for 2–3 years before joining our practice, she is excited to assist in the care of your fur babies any chance she can get.

CHRIS STEVENS, RVT

Chris has been in the veterinary field since 2017, he attended Morehead State University, obtaining his 4-year BS in Veterinary Technology, and has had the opportunity to work with several different species of animals and wildlife in his career so far!

Chris especially enjoys critical care and anesthesia and is interested in pursuing a VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in anesthesia to ensure that patients receive the best possible surgical care. Chris is also a certified Fear Free Technician.

Outside of the working hours, Chris loves spending time in the great outdoors, kayaking and visiting different waterfalls and roller coasters around the country. He also enjoys spending time with his wife (BreAnne) & daughter (Emma), catching up on their favorite TV shows together, and herding around their pack of pets! They share their home with six dogs (two Welsh corgis, one standard poodle, one pug, and two mixed breeds), and 3 cats.

KAYLA SAMMONS, RVT

Kayla is a 2019 Graduate from Morehead State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary medicine, and obtained her RVT license shortly after. Kayla resides in Kentucky with her husband Zayne and son, Noah. She has three dogs (Piper, Phineas, and Poe) and chinchilla (Phara). In her free time she loves to read, watch hockey (GO STARS!), listen to podcasts, and spend time with family and friends!

GRACE CARTEE

Grace joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in October of 2021. She currently lives in Kentucky & has 3 children (Gavin, Axton & Ruby), 3 dogs (Zeke, Rocko & Smudge), and 5 cats (Briggs, Blackie Chan, Cowie, Melu & Queso). In her free time, Grace enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with friends, & binge watching Netflix.

ANDY EVANS

Andy started with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in July of 2021. She is a lifelong resident of Kentucky, & resides in Worthington with David, her soul mate of 28 years (married 25). She has one perfect grandson—Atlas Edward & three amazing children – Tristin David, Alexandrea Mae, Charlie Nicole. Andy also has 1 fur baby—Odin the White Swiss Shepherd. In her free time, Andy enjoys making candy such as cake pops, dipped pretzels, etc, and spending time with her grandson. Andy is a HUGE fan of UK Basketball, and makes no apologies for her love of BIG BLUE NATION! She obviously bleeds blue, & even the smallest mention of Christian Laettner will get you banned from her home, her heart and her life!

CARRIE MIZENKO

Carrie has been with WAH since October 2020. She is a mother to three amazing boys (Aaron, Nathan & Hunter). She is also a fur mom to 4 dogs (Karma, Sparta, Otis & Caine). Carrie is dedicated & passionate about saving animals, as she worked in Animal Rescue for 2 years before joining the Wheelersburg Animal Hospital family. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster working to obtain her degree as registered Veterinary Technician. In her free time, Carrie enjoys listening to music & going to concerts, riding ATVs & loving on any dog that she comes in contact with!

TONYA BRADFORD

Tonya joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in April of 2019 & has over 21 years experience in Veterinary Medicine as both a receptionist & assistant. Having 8 cats, 2 dogs, chickens, rabbits as well as a very large family, she’s always on her toes! Tonya currently resides in West Portsmouth, OH, and in her free time, she enjoys riding her Harley, going antiquing & spending time with family.

KRISTIN RICHMOND, RVT

Kristin is a 2022 graduate of Mountwest CTC with a degree in AAS-Veterinary Technology. She has over 6 years of experience in veterinary medicine, and when she’s not at WAH, you can find her with her 4 daughters and husband. In addition to her human children, she has 4 cats (Stampy, Lulu, Steve, & Rosemary) and 2 dogs (Penny-Layne & Gypsy). She enjoys reading, hiking, and listening to true crime documentaries in her free time.

HOLLY CHABOT, RVT

Holly is a 2017 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute, and obtained her RVT license in 2019. She currently resides in Portsmouth, Ohio, with her husband, Todd, and their 2 daughters (Lacey & Laena). They have 3 dogs, Sassy, Heda, and Lotus, and 2 cats, Nolan, and Soupy. She enjoys spending time with her family and working on her never ending list of home renovations.

MORGAN LAHRMER, RVT

Morgan is a 2019 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford school, Columbus. Morgan & her 4 cats (Sammy, Dipper, Nimbus & Mavis) and 3 dogs (Lady, Bryleigh, & Mia) currently reside in Oak Hill, OH. When not at work, Morgan loves playing video games, hunting, spending time outdoors, & hanging out with family. Additionally, Morgan is a very successful Chicken Breeder & operates her own side business called Morgan’s Fluff Butt Hut!

KIMBERLY BREECH

Kimberly has been with WAH since August 2017. She currently resides in Peebles, OH & is the mother of two adult sons & grandmother to 2 little boys. She has 2 German Shepherds (Perseus & Ivy) & a cat (Josie). In her free time, Kimberly enjoys hiking, reading, sewing/quilting, crocheting, dancing & watching old movies.

BAILEY PRUITT

Bailey has been with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital since January 2017. She obtained her Associate of Applied Science Degree of Veterinary Technology from the Bradford School in Columbus. She currently lives in Kentucky with her son Liam, dog (Heartly the pit bull) 3 cats (Lyra the Siamese, & Stitch the one-eyed dilute Calico & Broccoli the wild, long haired orange bandit), & one horse (Pilgrim the Tennessee Walker). In her free time, Bailey enjoys spending time with her son, & just enjoying anything outside & crafting. She looks forward to helping your animals each & every day in whatever way she can!

KARLEY McKENZIE

Karl has been with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital since 2015, first as a technician and now as a Head Receptionist. She lives in South Shore, KY, with her husband, Andy, and their son “Bingo”. She shares her home with her cats & dogs, her favorite time of year is Fall, and in her free time, she enjoys Crocheting, binge-watching Netflix, & spending time with her son.

JUSTIN PULLINS, LEAD CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Justin is our Lead Receptionist & has been with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital since September of 2015. He lives in Sciotoville, OH & has 6 dogs (Beaver, Terra, Timber, Atlas, Zeus & Sven). Justin is a 2026 graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources & Recreation Management & a minor in Sociology. In his free time, he enjoys hiking/backpacking, playing/watching sports, gardening & traveling. Additionally, when not at WAH, Justin owns & operates his photography business, Impact Images.

LEVI PULLINS, HOSPITAL MANAGER

Levi has been with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital since October of 2014, working as Hospital Manager since August of 2026. He lives in Sciotoville, OH & has 6 dogs (Timber, Atlas, Sven, Terra, Zeus & Beaver). His is also currently enrolled at Penn Foster working to obtain his degree as a registered Veterinary Technician. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, playing computer games, playing with his dogs, gardening, & traveling.

AMBER SHAW

Amber joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in 2012. She obtained an Associate of Arts Degree from the University of North Florida (Go Ospreys!). She currently shares her home with her pit bull (Vega). She has the distinct honor of being one of our clinic cat (Hagrid)’s favorite people!

REVA ALLEN, CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

Reva joined the Wheelersburg Animal Hospital staff in June 2014, but has been working in the field of Veterinary Medicine for over 30 years. While Reva’s interests include going to the gym, hiking, horseback riding, decorating, flower arranging, & Christian Apologetics, she also loves organization, Christmas, antiquing & travel!

DEBBIE S. KILGALLIN, DVM

Dr. Kilgallin graduated from Auburn University in 1995 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Nashville, TN, Louisville, KY, Orange County, CA & Cincinnati, OH before coming to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in April of 2023. She currently lives in Ashland, KY with her 3 dogs (Tighe, Tango, & Zippo) & her horse (Fame). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her horses, & Auburn Football!

MEGAN BOWEN, DVM

Dr. Bowen started with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in October of 2020. She is a 2019 graduate of THE Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has over 15 years experience working in Veterinary Medicine, and she currently resides in Piketon, OH with her husband John, son John Ray, and cat (Feyre). In her free time, Dr. Megan enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, embroidering, baking, bird watching & reading.

MEGAN REITENOUR, RVT

Megan joined Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in June 2026. After spending 8 years in Louisiana, she’s excited to be back home in Ohio! Megan has worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2017 after graduating from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH. She chose Veterinary Medicine as a backup plan for a career in stock car racing, but 18 years later, she can’t imagine doing anything else. You could say that she has a little zoo of her owner, as she has 7 pets (5 dogs and 2 cats) and all but 1 are foster fails! When she’s not at work, she enjoys playing Co-Ed softball with her husband, spending time with her zoo, or visiting the racetrack cheering on her favorite drivers. Megan says she’s fortunate to do what she loves every day—working with animals! GO BUCKS!

TIMOTHY S. ROBERTS, DVM, Medical Director

Dr. Tim started with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital in January 2024. He graduated from Morehead State University in 1995, and went on to Auburn University, where he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2000. After practicing in Pikeville, KY for a year, Jacksonville, FL for 3 years, and spending the last 20 years practicing in Louisa, KY, he found himself practicing here at WAH! Dr. Tim currently lives in Catlettsburg, KY with his wife, his 3 children and 6 dogs. He is very passionate about the work he does and is eager to meet you & your pets!

LESLIE R. MARTIN, DVM

Dr. Leslie R. Martin is a 2000 graduate of THE Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine & has been an Associate Veterinarian with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital since graduation. Dr. Martin has dedicated her life to saving animals over the past 26 years & understands the importance of the bond between people & their pets. When not working, Dr. Martin enjoys spending time outdoors and watching her son play football (GO HORNETS!). She resides in Coal Grove, OH with her son Jagger, fiancé Kevin ,their dogs (Guini & April) & axolotls (Count & Pink Pony).

Aaron R. Myers, DVM

Dr. Myers graduated from THE Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and began his career with Wheelersburg Animal Hospital shortly after. In 1999, he relocated to Nashville, TN & practiced at Goodlettsville Animal Hospital for 9 years. Returning to Southern Ohio in 2008, he has practiced at Wheelersburg Animal Hospital ever since. He currently lives in Oak Hill, OH with his wife (Libby), children (Sophia, Cashe & Demi), 4 dogs (Miss Kay, Bella, Chief & Marley), 2 cats (Theo & Gary), he his beloved herd of sheep!
